Cement Mason

Cement Masons create the finished concrete surfaces you see on roads, sidewalks, curbs, and structural elements. It’s a craft — and the results are on permanent display.

As an apprentice, you’ll learn to spread, level, and finish concrete using floats, trowels, screeds, and other specialized tools. You’ll apply textures and finishing techniques. You’ll monitor curing to prevent cracking and make sure surfaces hold up for years.

Timing and precision are everything. Concrete doesn’t wait for you. You have to read conditions, work efficiently, and get it right while the material is still workable.

If you want a skill that’s visible in the infrastructure around you every single day, cement masonry delivers.
