Electrician

As an apprentice electrician, you’ll install and maintain the electrical systems that power major construction projects — from the ground up.

You’ll learn to read project plans, run conduit, and connect lighting, power equipment, and control systems. You’ll cut, bend, and thread conduit. Splice wires. Install switches, panels, and relays. Then test every circuit to make sure it’s safe and up to code.

This work takes technical skill and real problem-solving. You’ll use hand and power tools daily, coordinate with other trades, and follow project specs to make sure systems are reliable and correctly integrated into the bigger picture.
