Dock Builder / Pile Driver

Dock builders and Piledrivers work on some of the most demanding structures in construction. Docks. Bridges. Deep foundations. The kind of work most people never see — but everyone depends on.

As an apprentice, you’ll learn to drive piles into the ground or water to create structural support. You’ll install heavy materials like steel, concrete, and timber. You’ll follow project plans, measure and align components with precision, and operate specialized equipment.

Your job sites are unique — waterfront, below grade, on bridges. The environments are challenging, and the work requires skill, focus, and serious attention to detail.

If you’re comfortable working in tough conditions and want to build structures that carry real weight, this trade is a fit.
