Craft Laborer

Craft Laborers keep construction projects moving. You’re the one making sure the site is ready and the work stays on track.

As an apprentice, you’ll prepare and clear job sites, move materials, and support skilled trades across highway, bridge, and infrastructure projects. That means grading and compacting soil. Clearing debris. Assembling forms. Assisting with concrete and asphalt work.

You’ll use hand tools like shovels and rakes, plus power compactors, cutters, and mixers. The work is physical, fast-paced, and essential. Every trade on the job depends on what you do first.

If you’re adaptable, pay attention to detail, and want to be in the middle of the action — this is a strong place to start.
